Unsung Indy
In honor of the launching of Unsung Indy and Urban Indy's call to share your neighborhood experiences, I am putting a double-post in today.
First up: The Appeal of Urban Neighborhoods
I can't possibly begin to explain how great it is when you find a place that fits you. I strongly encourage people to start investigating their own city, and find an urban neighborhood that you feel welcome in. Inspiration is all around us.
Second: Irvington
Yet another post about the neighborhood of Irvington. I live here, so I'm kind of biased, but I want to share as much as I know about it during the Unsung Indy campaign.
Enjoy!

Somehow I missed these posts. I swear I've checked your blog in the past few days. Blogger can be odd that way. But hey, it's free, so I don't complain much.
Anyways, you've posted some good stuff. Irvington is a fine neighborhood.
It's probably my fault, I started up the posts but did not publish them until they were all done. So the dates only represent when I started typing.
Glad you enjoyed the posts! Irvington is a great place, but so are a lot of other neighborhoods in the city; I'm hoping the spread awareness of urban neighborhoods in general. The more people that live in the city, the better off we will all be (suburbs included).
